Hot Rock is an add-on business which is based on an innovative product, enabling the proprietor/s of a restaurant to create a whole new exciting range of meals served within 6 minutes from order, with dishes really limited by your imagination. This product will make your establishment more memorable than ever.

This is not entirely a new product as it has employed as a method of cookery that has been used down through the ages by different cultures. This is cooking on "Volcanic Stones". No oil or fat required to be used, ideal for meat and vegetarian dishes.

The system is made up from several components

The Oven
The oven has been designed to heat to a sufficient cooking temperature with minimal heat loss through the exterior. In fact the exterior of the oven may be touched without any fear of causing burns. It requires only a fifteen amp single phase power source. It is important to note that this oven does not actually cook food. It heats volcanic stones to the desired temperature. Therefore it does not require any form of exhaust canopies or vents.

The Stones
The stones are specially sourced volcanic stones which are heated in the oven to the desired temperature. Seventy of these stones can be loaded into the oven at any particular time.

The Plates
The plates used in this system are specially designed stoneware plates to hold the heated volcanic stones. They have been designed in such a way as to prevent against thermal cracking.
